Final week of Caley League rugby before the Autumn International break.
Dyce RFC host Gordonian’s 2nd XV in a re-arranged fixture from Gameweek 8. With both teams sitting low in the table (12th and 9th respectively) both teams will see this fixture as an opportunity to pick up a decent points haul before a few weeks of R&R in November.
Dyce, despite improved performances against North Scotland Police and Huntly in their last two outings, are still seeking their first league points of the season. A fast start, so often absent during matches this season, will be key for the hosts who will play in their change Maroon strip. There will be particular focus to improve upon their tally of four tries in the first 8 games of the season.
Gordonians on the other hand have three points from their 6 matches played, taken against Huntly in week 2, and at home to Fraserburgh in gameweek 7 winning 39-10.

The teams' last meeting from back in March resulted in a 7-38 Dyce RFC defeat on the newly constructed 4G pitch, something the current crop of players will be seeking to avoid. This however was in stark contrast to the 146-0 thrashing handed out to Dyce in the reverse fixture at Countesswells on 29th October 2016.
KO is 2pm at the Central Park pitches, Dyce on Saturday 4th November. Join us in the New Greentrees after the game to watch the Edinburgh Vs Ospreys match on Sky Sports Action from 17:15pm.
