Inverness Craig Dunain travel to Central Park to take on Dyce RFC tomorrow kicking off at 2pm despite the cold snap earlier in the week.
With snow still on the ground a pitch inspection will take place on Friday evening to determine if the pitch is playable or not.
Dyce head into the game following the November internationals break optimistic given the upturn in the team's performances of late since the battle at Huntly back in Mid-October. Despite regular fly half and Co-Captain David Hay being absent, the team is pulling together and scoring tries en-route to finding that elusive win. Seemingly slow starts are a thing of the past too, with quick tries scores within the opening five minutes registered against Gordonians last time out by CJ Thompson and against the North Scotland Police by Phil Horsfall; the lads in blue and maroon will be looking for more of the same come gameday.
Craig Dunain, despite a strong start to the league have become more inconsistent of late, with their form stuttering and interrupted by postponed/cancelled fixtures. Sitting 4th in the table on 23 points, away form for the men from Inverness has been patchy at best before they took the scalp of League leaders Kinloss Eagles last time out with a 24-41 point away win. One win from three away fixtures before that match gives the home team optimism going into tomorrow's match.
Last season saw ICD run away with thumping home and away victories against Dyce with an aggregate score of 143-0, something Dyce will be looking to avenge! The last Dyce victory over Dunain was back in December 2014 (no contests in 2015-16 season), where Dyce ran out 12-5 victors in a closely fought contest.
Supporters are welcome as always to cheer on both teams- KO is 2pm. Despite the forecast for warmer weather than the start of the week please wrap up warm in the cold!
