Following on from the narrow loss to Huntly a fortnight ago, Dyce RFC are seeking to back up their best performance to date with a similarly solid showing to a dangerous Police side. A win would see Dyce chalk up their first victory of the season following some heavy losses away from home after a slow league start.
With the Bobbies second in the table having won all of their games this season, the pressure is on them to continue their winning form. Dyce, sitting bottom of the table have everything to gain after a week of recuperation following the postponement of their clash against Gordonian’s.
The last times the two sides met at the tail end of last season saw Dyce lose by a cricket score away from home 124-3 in Feb 2017. In the reverse fixture earlier in the season Dyce were again trounced as the boys in blue ran out 0-68 winners (5th Nov 2016). In a quirk of league re-shuffles, the match prior to that Dyce ran out 0-10 victors back on 18th Jan 2014 with both teams looking vastly different to this weekend’s clash.

Supporters are welcome, as always, to cheer on both clubs in the windy conditions.
