Covid-19: How to track and trace players.

Pitch Hero22 Jul 2020 - 11:00

Important information for coaches and team managers.

While following government guidelines for COVID-19, clubs can use the Pitchero Club Website and Mobile Apps to track and trace players as they return to playing sport in a safe environment.

Within your Pitchero club website service, there are features which can provide a full track and trace service for playing matches and attending training sessions.

The features can be used online via the club website OR via the Pitchero Manager App and Pitchero Club App - both free to download via your app store.

The track and trace features are:

  1. Training - use the Player Availability and Training feature.
  2. Matches - use the Player Availability and Team Selection feature.

These features will allow a coach to:

  - Organise a training session or match.
  - Invite players to attend.
  - Send additional information such as COVID-19 instructions.
  - Track and record attendance.
  - Identify participation and contact records by individual.

We've also added some new functionality allowing you to export player attendance for training sessions into a flexible CSV format, perfect for submission to your league, county or governing body.

The exports have the date and time, type of event (training or fixture), a reference to the event (e.g. "First team training"), first name and last name of the attendee.

We've created a short blog explaining how the feature works. View blog.

Coaches can ONLY access these features IF they have the correct Team Admin access.
