The two sides met once, away in Peterhead, last season when Dyce produced one of their standout performances of the campaign- running in tries from nine different scorers. Before that meeting the clubs hadn't face off for a couple of years , and in the recent history of the fixture it's Peterhead who have held the upper hand. With Dyce now looking to build consistency and momentum there's plenty of motivation to repeat last season's performance.

It has been a good couple of weeks of training following on from our loss to Aberdeen Grammar. The team were disappointed with their performance that day and are determined to bounce back and secure their first win of the season. The hard work has been put in on the training ground and now coach Jonny Clipston has a real selection dilemma ahead of Saturday's clash.

In terms of team news, vice captain Sean Broadley misses this one out through injury however Lewis Nicolson and Patryk Stanek look set to become the fifth and sixth members of the squad to be handed their club debuts this season. Both will look to make use their pace in the back line. In the forward pack there is returns to the squad for Drew McPherson, Greig Rollo and Alan Simpson.
