Dyce Rugby Club's 35th Anniversary season has got off to a flying start with news today that the club has successfully registered an official tartan through The Scottish Register of Tartans.

The design is based upon the club's historic home colours of Navy, Sky blue and maroon which are enshrined within the club's constitution. The strong navy background and white also gives a further subtle nod to the club's proud Scottish roots and is called "Dyce Rugby Club". The design will forevermore be synonymous with the club.

The tartan is available for use by club members and those with an affiliation to the rugby club.

Requests for the threadcount to order and produce authentic tartan garments from individuals should be made through the Rugby clubs email address here. The design can also be requested through appropriate weavers and garment producers by asking for "Dyce Rugby Club" tartan.

The tartan will also be incorporated into a new kit design for the upcoming season which will be revealed in due course.
